14/09/2017 - School Dinner Menu

The School Lunch menus for the Autumn Term (September to December) 2017, are now available to view.  Please see the 'Parents/Carers' section of our website, under 'School Meals'.

14/09/2017 - Orchard Head Nursery - School Visits

For the first time at Orchard Head School, Nursery pupils are to be invited to take part in school trips, along with those children in our upper foundation stage.  Pupils would need to be accompanied by an adult family member, e.g. parent/carer, grandparent, etc.

Two trips have already been considered by staff, but before any definite booking can be made, we need to know whether parents/carers would be interested.  Please see full details under the 'Letters and Information' section of our website.

04/09/2017 - Cashless School

To pay for school events: 

Payments for school events, including Dinner Money, Breakfast Club and After-school Clubs must be paid online via schoolmoney.co.uk. Alternatively, payments may be made by credit or debit card at the school office.

04/09/2017 - Parent Info - A new free service for parents/carers

'Parent Info' is a free service, in which parents/carers can find a collection of articles, tips, expert advice and resources designed to help them to keep up with what their children are doing online. 

Parent Info is a collaboration between Parent Zone, which has been providing information and support to parents for a decade, and CEOP, the Child Exploitation and Online Protection command of the National Crime Agency.

24/05/2017 - Parents/Carers and Grandparent helpers needed in School

We are hoping to increase the number of parents/carers and grandparents who volunteer in school, assisting with reading and changing of books.  This will be subject to a DBS (Disclosure and Barring) check, which will be carried out by school.

If you can spare a few hours each week and would like to help, please contact the school office.
